Back ground
Bodmando Consulting Group is seeking a creative, technically competent and proactive Female Web Designer & Digital Communications consultant to manage and strengthen the organisation’s digital presence. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our website and social media platforms remain functional, current, professional and aligned with modern digital standards.

Kagoma, Wakiso district, Uganda
Duties and Responsibilities
The consultant will:
- Manage, maintain and regularly update the Bodmando Consulting Group website, including content, pages, images, project information, publications and other resources.
- Monitor website functionality, performance, security and user experience and promptly address technical issues.
- Continuously improve the website to ensure it remains modern, responsive, user-friendly and consistent with state-of-the-art web design practices.
- Manage and regularly update the organisation’s social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn and X (formerly Twitter).
- Develop, design and publish professional digital content highlighting Bodmando’s projects, research, evaluations, achievements, opportunities and other organisational activities.
- Ensure consistent organisational branding and messaging across the website and social media platforms.
- Monitor digital engagement and periodically provide basic analytics on website and social media performance.
- Support the development of graphics, digital communication materials and other online content as required.
- Provide periodic support to research and consultancy assignments, including supporting field data collection, digital data management and related research activities when required.
- Undertake other reasonable duties assigned by management in support of the organisation’s operations and projects.
Qualifications
Applicants should have:
- A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Web Design, Information Technology, Computer Science, Digital Communications, Multimedia, Graphic Design or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in website design, administration and maintenance.
- Experience managing professional social media accounts, particularly LinkedIn and X.
- Knowledge of WordPress.
- Basic graphic design and digital content development skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot website and digital platform issues.
- Strong written communication, organisation and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and manage multiple assignments.
- Willingness to periodically participate in research and field data collection activities.
- Experience working with consulting, research, development or similar organisations will be an added advantage.

Interviews
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to our office to participate in a two-stage, in-person interview and assessment process comprising:
- Stage 1: A supervised written technical test to assess web design skills in Word press.
- Stage 2: A face-to-face oral interview for candidates who successfully pass the written technical test.
