Project Manager
Role Summary
Farsight Africa Group is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager with expertise in information systems to lead a large-scale digitalization initiative in public finance management. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the digital transformation of internal tax and non-tax revenue collection processes, ensuring successful implementation and operational efficiency.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Lead and manage the digitalization project, ensuring timely delivery and operational success.
• Oversee the design, development, and implementation of digital tax and non-tax revenue collection systems.
• Coordinate with stakeholders, including government agencies, development partners, and technology providers, to drive project success.
• Ensure compliance with best practices in public finance management digitalization.
• Provide strategic guidance and problem-solving expertise to address challenges during project execution.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Prepare reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
Job Requirements
• A minimum of a BAC +5 (Master’s degree) in Information Systems or an equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience as a Project Manager in at least one (1) project focused on digitalization of internal tax and non-tax revenue collection or a large-scale national project related to digitalization in public finance management within the last ten (10) years.
• Strong understanding of public sector digitalization and financial technology solutions.
• Excellent project management skills, including planning, execution, and stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to work in complex and sensitive environments.
