In order to contribute to improving the nutritional status and livelihoods of vulnerable individuals and communities affected by crises and shocks in the Adamawa and Northern regions, a collaborative framework is established between IMC and WFP for the implementation of specific and nutrition-sensitive interventions and the development of sustainable livelihoods. To do this, a Manager is need or the project.
Job Description
JOB SUMMARY: The manager Food Security and Livelihoods (FSL) supports country missions in designing, implementing & monitoring of FSL projects in humanitarian and development contexts as well as training and building capacity of existing and newly recruited local FSL staff and stakeholders in IMC FSL standards and programming. The FSL manager will also represent IMC in FSL sector clusters and technical working groups in-country. He/she will be supervised in-country and technically supported by the International Medical Corps’ Global Food Security & Livelihoods Advisor at HQ.
