Contracts Advisor Full Time

GINGER SOFRECO is looking for a Contracts Advisor to be involved in a Technical Assistance Services to EU-funded PROMOVE Transporte programme in Mozambique.

The purpose of this TA consists in (i) strenghtening of national policies and institutional capacity for the management of rural roads (ii) establishing improved rural road asset management systems and (iii) efficient administration of the road works contracts funded by the EU under the Milange-Mocuba corridor upgrading project and PROMOVE Transporte.

This full-time position is based in Maputo, with occasional trips to Nampula and Zambezia provinces.

GINGER SOFRECO is in search of a candidate possessing the requisite skills listed below:

– at least 15 years of practice in construction and supervision of road infrastructures;

– prior experience in technical assistance (ideally 3 years) on major road works projects;

– prior experience in supervision of roads works under EDF of FIDIC procedures ;

– high proficiency in written and spoken English.

Previous professional experience in African countries will be an advantage.

Knowledge of Portuguese will be considered an asset.
