An opportunity has arisen to join the Liberia team in a leadership role whose primary focus is to ensure that approaches to rights-based conservation and sustainable livelihoods are effectively and consistently implemented in Fauna & Flora’s target landscapes and projects in Liberia. We are seeking a team player with strong interpersonal skills and sound technical knowledge and experience of developing and applying rights-based approaches in conservation contexts. In addition, you will be a highly collaborative and strategic thinker with proven experience in capacity building, project design, management and monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL).
You will be confident in building and managing relationships with staff, partner organisations and community representatives and have the ability to work with multi-disciplinary groups. You will have a good understanding of the need for effective information-sharing, collaboration and learning, as well as a shared commitment to Fauna & Flora’s mission and values. You will be passionate about supporting others to develop their knowledge and skills while being open to learning and able to quickly pick up new skills. You will have experience in applying your skills to a conservation, rural livelihoods and/or natural resource management context. In return, the role offers the opportunity to apply your skills and expertise working within a ground-breaking organisation, at the forefront of global conservation.
