Global Communities is seeking a Senior Project Manager for the anticipated FCDO EFFECTS Plus Project. This 3-year $5M program will adapt and tailor the GC’s EFFECTS intervention, building on what works in Tanzania to prevent violence. The program will scale the approach to improve child dietary diversity and developmental outcomes while also addressing VAWG reduction in additional regions and at the national policy level.
The Senior Project Manager will lead and oversee the overall implementation of the program, including technical strategy, financial and operational leadership, and human resources. The Senior Project Manager is responsible for overall program implementation, strategic vision, and outcome achievement. The Senior Project Manager will manage a team of staff to ensure the quality, timeliness, and efficiency of all products and activities generated under the project. S/he will work closely with implementation and research partner organizations to ensure smooth and aligned project implementation. Finally, the SPM will be responsible for communications with FCDO/What Works to Prevent Violence Against Woman and Girls, for publicly representing the project, and for liaising with government and other institutions/stakeholders as necessary.
