CBM is developing a development project in the Far North region of Cameroon as part of the funding program entitled “Private Organizations” of the German Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). For the planning of the project and the preparation of the proposal, a feasibility study design is required.
Objective of the feasibility study
The objective of the requested consultation is to assess the feasibility of a project proposed by CBM and the Union of Baptist Churches of Cameroon (UEBC) and to systematically verify the extent to which the project approach can reasonably achieve the expected changes under the existing framework conditions.
The project is currently in the development phase and CBM is seeking to recruit a consultant to conduct a feasibility study to assess the viability of the proposed project and systematically verify the extent to which the project approach can reasonably achieve the intended changes under the existing framework conditions.
It should provide CBM and its partners with sufficient information on the opportunities and risks of the project, as well as concrete recommendations for improving the project concept. The study will be submitted to BMZ together with the project proposal.
As a first step, the study should provide an assessment of the following:
• Analysis of the situation and problems at the macro, meso, and micro levels
• Assessment of the local partner organization in the country concerned
• Analysis of target groups and key stakeholders at the macro, meso, and micro levels
To this end, we are looking for a team of consultants or an individual consultant to collect qualitative and quantitative data in the project region.

The consultant or consulting firm must submit a technical and financial proposal including
CBM reserves the right to terminate the contract if the agreed consultant(s) are not available at the start or during the assignment.
