1. Background and Context
As an International Humanitarian Development Organization, World Vision Somalia (WVS) is trusted to deliver integrated programs with target communities through its programs located in all states of the country. WVS envisions a thriving organization where our strong leadership at all levels results in improved delivery of results for children.
2. Purpose of the Expression of Interest
It is the intent of this RFP to secure a competitive proposal to select a potential service provider who can provide facilities, qualified staff, expertise, and other resources required to undertake reliable Air cargo transportation service for general cargo, dangerous goods, perishable and valuable cargo per industry standards.
The winning Bidder(s) will enter into a fixed price Long Term agreement for three (3) years, with the possibility of contract extension upon satisfactory performance. Note that there will be price adjustment depending on the context and market assessment results.
1. All qualified and interested service providers are invited to submit their proposals.
2. Bidders shall be domiciled in and shall comply with all Government Regulations to operate in Nairobi and Somalia.
3. Bidders shall be regular taxpayers and shall furnish a copy of their operating license/certificate of registration valid for the fiscal year 2025 /2026 GC).
4. Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt or fraudulent practices.
3. Terms and Conditions
The minimum requirements that must be satisfied by prospective bidders in the evaluation process are:
- Valid Business Registration License, Valid Tax Clearance Certificate, Current Valid membership certificate of International Flight and Cargo Association, Valid Air Transport Agents certificate (IATA)
4. Cost of Bidding
The Bidder shall be responsible for all costs associated with the preparation and submission of its bid, and WVS hereinafter referred to as “the Purchaser”, will in no case be responsible or liable for those costs, regardless of the conduct or outcome of the bidding process.

We hereby invite Expression of Interest from registered, approved and reputable consultants to provide above-named services to World Vision Somalia.
How to apply
- Interested bidders must be registered to provide consultancy services in their respective countries.
- Request for Proposal documents will be available Free of Charge to all interested bidders who express interest by filling the form provided in this link https://forms.office.com/r/ykLJ24T8tE by 5:00 PM Sunday 16th November 2025.
- Instructions for submission of completed proposals shall be indicated on the Request for Proposal document.
- Nothing in this Expression of Interest shall be construed to give rise to contractual obligations with World Vision.
- World Vision, may at its absolute discretion, suspend or defer this EOI process.
