PIN has been operational since 2006 in Angola with offices in Luanda, Lubango, Huambo, Kuito and Moçâmedes.
PIN’s strategic approach is built on three main pillars: (1) Emergency Response and Recovery, (2) Climate Resilience, and (3) Civil Society and Inclusive Governance. Our projects are designed to align with these strategic pillars and focus on addressing key issues such as good governance, WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene), nutrition, agriculture and food security, livelihoods, and public health. We have been actively implementing multisectoral responses to tackle these areas, while also expanding our humanitarian interventions in the country to address environmental disasters and displacement. As climate resilience becomes an increasingly critical component of our country programs, it will be a key priority for the new Country Director to further explore and integrate climate adaptation and mitigation strategies into our projects.https://www.peopleinneed.net/what-we-do/humanitarian-aid-and-development/angola
