About Me

I am a very experienced Life actuary, working in Uganda now for 2.5 years of which 2 years at the Insurance Regulatory Authority of Uganda and since Feb 2018 as consultant/Chief Actuary of WorldCover (see www. worldcovr.com). I am familiar with and interested in additional assignments in the area of inclusive/agricultural insurance, risk-based supervision/risk management, IFRS17 and other regulatory/accounting issues. I am also experienced in providing trainings on different topics in insurance, e.g., increasing insurance penetration, pricing/product development, embedded value. I have a lot of trainings material, including a 400 pp book that I have written about insurance in developing countries.
