Work Experience

Heifer International Rwanda (HIR) | Kigali – Rwanda

Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Officer | 02/2025 – 02/2026

·     Supported four HIR projects namely RDDP2, PRISM, RDMS, and PSAC to analyze agricultural and household-level data to support strategies aimed to support the livelihoods of 70,000+ smallholder farmers in livestock and horticulture value chains.

·     Conducted pause and reflect sessions every quarter for the projects to support in setting annual and quarterly performance indicators as well as monitoring the projects progress and achievement towards the indicators.

·     Supported in evaluating consultation tenders for project assessments, monitoring and supervising field work, and ensuring provided reports meets the highest standards.

·     Provided capacity building to field staff, enumerators, and community facilitators in using M&E software, performance indicators and data collection tools.

·     Developed Terms of References (TORs) and concept notes to guide program design, implementation, engage partners and attract consultants for research studies to support HIR livelihood projects.

·     Stakeholder engagement with key partners such as RAB-SPIU and IFAD through joint project monitoring activities to strengthen coordination and program effectiveness.

·     Led qualitative data collection activities such as focus groups, field interviews, baseline and exit surveys, etc. translation from English to Kinyarwanda and vice versa to ease the work of the field staff and reduce the language barriers often experienced in data collection and reporting.

·     Transcribed notes for qualitative data collection activities include interviews and focus group discussions.

·     Data cleaning, analysis and visualization using statistical tools like Excel, SPSS and Canva for reporting visualization.

Global Warming Mitigation Project Constellations Fellowship

M&E Fellow | 02/2024 – 05/2024

·     Created two narrative reports which highlighted program outcomes for the entrepreneurs trained by the organization and the Business Development Associates. I used various tools such as Canva and disseminated data to the leadership team.

·     Developed a research proposal grant application to the USAID DIV. This proposal will help the organization to scale up its innovation and perform an evaluation study.

·     Contributed to organizational communications by providing necessary information such as statistical data and progress reports.

·     Conducted a Cost and Potential Cost-Effectiveness analysis for the program to understand the cost per beneficiary in terms of variable and fixed costs.

Association Internationale des Maires Francophones (AIMF) | Kigali – Rwanda

Research Associate (Part-time) 03/2021 – 09/2021

·       Developed a research framework that indicated all entrepreneurship hubs and the start-up ecosystem in Rwanda as part of a project that spans 3 countries of Rwanda, Burundi and DRC.

·       Identified stakeholders, and conducted qualitative data collection (interviews, survey, observation, desk research) to test the research hypothesis.

·       Initiated a follow-up program aiming at helping entrepreneurship programs improve their work while maximizing impact through creating sustainability.
