Expert 6: Pool 2 with 4 Experts in Conflict Resolution and Prevention with International Experience
Tasks of Expert 6
- Design, facilitate, and document training sessions for members of local NRG (Natural Resource Governance) structures on drafting local agreements (e.g., local conventions).
- Design, facilitate, and document training sessions for members of local NRG structures and other relevant stakeholders on conflict resolution, with a specific focus on NRG.
- Design, facilitate, and document training sessions for members of local NRG structures and other stakeholders on Disaster Risk Management (DRM).
- Design, facilitate, and document peer-learning workshops for members of NRG structures from different localities, potentially including participants from various SARES countries.
- Design, facilitate, and document community dialogues to identify local “connectors” and “dividers” (following the “Do No Harm” principle) and propose measures to address them (strengthen the “connectors” and/or weaken the “dividers”).
Qualifications of Expert 6
- Education: Master’s degree in social, political, or economic sciences.
- Language: Proficiency in French (C1) and English (C1) as per the CEFR.
- General Professional Experience: 5 years of professional experience in peacebuilding and conflict resolution.
- Specific Professional Experience:
- 3 years of professional experience in natural resource governance (NRG).
- 3 years of professional experience in disaster risk management (DRM).
- International Experience: 1 year of professional experience outside West Africa.
- Experience in West Africa: 3 years of professional experience in West Africa (Burkina Faso, Mali, Niger, Chad).
- Development Cooperation Experience: 3 years of experience in development cooperation projects.
