SUMMARY OF POSITION
The Business Development and Grants Coordinator (BDGC) will support the overall program portfolio growth of the Somalia Mission through contributing in new business development, BD data management and Grants compliance. The ADBD will work under the supervision of the Associate Director Business Development (ADBD) with the support of Action Against Hunger’s Somalia technical, financial, and cross-functional teams. The position requires a strong sense of teamwork, flexibility and genuine interest in trying out new funding streams.
PURPOSE
Business Development & Grant Acquisition: Contribute to development of innovative ways to grow revenue, support development of technical and financial costing proposals
BD data management: Ensure up to date and accurate BD data is available in all the online repositories: No Hunger Folder, Airtable among others
Donor Compliance Assurance: In partnership with the ADBD ensure donor guidelines and regulations are strictly followed in line with Action Against Hunger standards and procedures.
