About Money for Madagascar
Money for Madagascar (MfM) is a global development non-profit organisation, headquartered in Madagascar with a registration and an office in the UK. We work with Malagasy communities to create a more equitable, resilient, and sustainable future. Since 1986, we have supported locally led solutions that address the root causes of poverty and environmental degradation, empowering communities to protect Madagascar’s unique biodiversity while improving livelihoods and opportunities.
Having increased our annual income from close to £350,000 to around £1 million, and having developed a strong Malagasy leadership team, MfM is entering an exciting phase of growth. We are expanding our reach and partnerships to deliver an ambitious new strategy for sustainable change.
Joining MfM means becoming part of a purpose-driven, collaborative organisation with a newly-created team working across locations, time zones and languages making a real difference in one of the world’s most extraordinary and vulnerable countries. We enter our 40th anniversary year with a scheduled global programme of events marking the history and future of Malagasy community-led development.
