Childline Kenya is a non-governmental organization that exists to keep children safe all the time by promoting child rights and enhancing child protection through ICT innovations. The guiding vision is a society where children’s rights and dignity are upheld at all times. One of our flagship programs is the National Child Helpline 116 service which we manage in partnership with the Directorate of Children’s Services. The Helpline, which is a 24-hour emergency number, is dedicated to children’s matters and is accessible from anywhere in Kenya. Childline works through a partnership network of service providers to provide requisite services to children in distress. The services include child and family therapy, legal support, rescue and placement in temporary safe shelter, medical support, and medication among others. We also provide information and education to the public (including children) on keeping children safe thus preventing violations against children in the first instance.
We are hiring a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer to strengthen our data management processes and evidence-based programming. The individual will closely support our project within the NIA Program.
