Dear Sirs,
Managing a huge team of about 100 people, among them my team, government and other organizations groups and being inspiring as well as guiding them all towards the same objective at Girl’s Education Challenge project in Mozambique was no small feat. That success came from my passion for Education Project Management, M&E and my skills in timeframe, performance appraisal chart usage and tracking of deliverables while being supportive in a coordinated manner.
That’s why I was so excited to learn about the Senior Reading and Curriculum Advisor opportunity at Creative Associates International. I’ve been seen your commitment on observing the Sustainable Development Goals, which has inspired me to start a career Education, Protection as well as provision of learning opportunities to the most vulnerable groups. Your commitment and approach to Continuous Improvement fit perfectly with my belief that lower costs, good results and higher quality should go hand-in-hand. That thinking is borne out by these accomplishments that fit your needs:
• Teachers Professional Development guides development. Developed Literacy and Numeracy guides and monitoring tools for early grades, primary and secondary education, for 175 schools of Manica, Gaza and Tete provinces; Trained Teachers, Managers, DEOs and MoE officials;
• Learning camps guides development. Developed LC for literacy and numeracy boost at community level, trained community facilitators.
• Students’ assessment. Developed EGRA, EGMA, SeGRA and SeGMA assessments to grasp 16000 students’ learning level and specific contents in which they are lagging behind, as well as identifying specific needs for teachers’ competencies improvement
• Project Coordination. Implemented Education approaches (Inclusive) training for all 1000 employees and stakeholders. Achieved 100% buy-in to Teacher professional development, roving teacher, Child protection and psychosocial support protocol by the government
• Standardized Work. Led a project to create and enforce standardized work across all 5 main outputs (development of Detailed Implementation Plans, Finance forecast and reports). Reduced disqualified expenses due to misuse of the project budget through team development and effective communication/coordination.
• Project Directing. Provided strategic leadership, ensuring technically sound decision-making processes for the project, increasing staff performance by 30%
For instance, I am working as Education Specialist for Save the Children International, and I am available to start 30 days after my contract is resigned.
My salary expectation is according to the Organization’s table and well-fitting to the position.
I’m happy to discuss why your opening is the perfect fit for my career and Project Management skill set.
Best Regards,
Nercia Manjate
Sincerely,
Nércia Zeferino Chelene Manjate [email protected]
