In Tanzania, Girl Effect delivers programmes through its youth brand Tujibebe, which uses radio, social media, digital platforms and community engagement to promote positive health, parenting and behaviour change.
This consultancy supports the Mzazi Hodari III programme, which promotes responsive caregiving, early childhood development and positive parenting behaviours among young parents and caregivers.
Background
Mzazi Hodari III is a one-year extension programme designed to improve nurturing care practices for children under three years by encouraging:
Early initiation of breastfeeding
Exclusive breastfeeding
Responsive caregiving
Positive parenting practices
Appropriate health-seeking behaviour
Improved child nutrition
As the programme concludes, Girl Effect seeks to document programme impact through compelling multimedia success stories demonstrating behavioural change among programme participants and showcasing the effectiveness of the programme’s Social and Behaviour Change (SBC) approach.
Assignment Objective
Girl Effect Tanzania seeks to engage a qualified Production Agency to conceptualise, film, edit and deliver three high-quality success story products that demonstrate the impact of the Mzazi Hodari III programme.
The agency will work closely with Girl Effect’s Creative Team throughout pre-production, production and post-production to ensure all deliverables align with Girl Effect’s creative, safeguarding and brand standards.
What You’ll Do
Mzazi Hodari III is a one-year extension project focused on improving children’s health by encouraging responsive caregiving, early breastfeeding, and promoting positive parenting behaviors through media content across radio, social media, IVR, and on-the-ground interventions.
