Expert 9: Pool 5 with 8 Agricultural Economists with National Experience
Tasks of Expert 9:
- Implement and document an intermediate and final evaluation of Result Indicator 3 (Household Food Insecurity Experience Scale), following international standards and using standardized tools.
- Design, implement, and document studies on livelihoods and markets.
- Provide technical advice to project staff and intermediaries on the following topics, as requested:
- Climate-smart agricultural practices
- Processing, conservation, and marketing techniques
- Agricultural value chain development
Qualifications of Expert 9:
- Education: University degree (Bachelor’s) in agriculture or economics.
- Language: Proficiency in French (C1) according to the CEFR.
- General Professional Experience: 5 years of professional experience in agriculture and food security.
- Specific Professional Experience:
- 3 years of professional experience in household surveys and market studies related to agriculture and food security.
- Experience in West Africa: 3 years of professional experience in Burkina Faso, Mali, Niger, or Chad.
- Development Cooperation Experience: 2 years of experience in development cooperation projects.
