Promouvoir l’intégrité et la résilience de l’information

Le présent appel de demande (RFA) invite les partenaires potentiels capables de promouvoir les initiatives en matière d’intégrité et de résilience de l’information dans le cadre du programme de renforcement de la paix et de la stabilité régionales en Afrique de l’Ouest (SRPS) de l’USAID à soumettre des demandes de financement.
L’USAID SRPS vise à soutenir la mise en œuvre d’initiatives locales qui renforcent la résilience de la société face à la désinformation, protègent l’espace public d’information et combattent la désinformation afin de garantir que les citoyens ont accès à des informations basées sur des faits concernant des questions clés. Ces activités contribueront aux efforts plus larges des nations d’Afrique de l’Ouest pour faire face aux risques d’instabilité découlant des conflits.
Les demandeurs sont encouragés à proposer des méthodes innovantes et pratiques pour renforcer la résilience des populations face à la manipulation de l’information ; renforcer la capacité des institutions gouvernementales locales et nationales à communiquer efficacement avec les communautés et à répondre à la manipulation de l’information ; améliorer les capacités des journalistes à vérifier les faits et à diffuser des informations exactes et sensibles aux conflits dans les langues locales ; et intégrer la technologie pour innover dans les réponses à la manipulation de l’information, par exemple en traquant les discours haineux et en y répondant par des récits positifs dans les langues locales.
La zone géographique du programme est ouverte à tout le territoire de la Côte d’Ivoire. Les candidats sont tenus d’inclure un processus de consultation/co-création avec la/les communauté(s) ciblée(s) et les bénéficiaires afin de s’assurer que les interventions répondent aux besoins des bénéficiaires.
La date limite de soumission de tous les documents de demande pour le premier cycle d’évaluation est fixée au 24 octobre 2024 à 17h00.
