PHDA is a Kenyan NGO affiliated with the University of Manitoba (UoM), Canada. PHDA works to improve access to healthcare for disadvantaged communities in Africa through systems strengthening, research, programme development, and partnerships.
We are seeking a Research Coordinator with quantitative research skills to design and oversee the implementation of this specific research project. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated professional with extensive experience in managing quantitative research projects and a passion for contributing to a growing organization that offers opportunities for career development. Using a Program Science approach, this research project aims to better understand how physical, organizational, social, and relational dimensions of place shape ecologies of risk and safety for adolescent girls and young women (15-24 yrs), female sex workers, and their male sexual partners in Nairobi County. The study intends to generate evidence for prioritizing place-based strategies for HIV and sexually transmitted infections programming to optimize programme coverage and address unmet needs among study populations.
