Expert 10: Pool 6 ‘Moderation’ with 4 experts having national-level experience
Tasks of Expert 10
- Utilize the task requirements of experts from Pools 5.1 and 5.2 to guide moderation and facilitation activities in sessions and workshops related to natural resource governance, conflict resolution, social cohesion, and food security.
- Facilitate participatory processes and manage group dynamics during workshops, promoting open and constructive exchanges between the various stakeholders involved.
- Document discussions and outcomes from workshops or moderation sessions, ensuring a synthesis of key points for follow-up and subsequent actions.
- Provide technical advice and training to local teams and stakeholders on best moderation practices in governance or development contexts.
Qualifications of Expert 10
- Education: University degree in communication, journalism, or social sciences.
- Language: Proficiency in French (C1 level) as per the CEFR.
- General Professional Experience: 8 years of professional experience in communication, media, or journalism.
- Specific Professional Experience:
- 5 years of professional experience in moderation and facilitation of workshops and working groups.
- Development Cooperation Experience: No specific requirements mentioned for this position.
