What we are looking for
Senior HR Management experience in a humanitarian/recovery context with a strong technical background in human resources.
Strong people and change management and well experienced in stakeholder management with as extensive experience developing and implementing policies and procedures.
Wide knowledge of NGO operations and the dynamics of the humanitarian sector with good knowledge of the Libya context.
Experience with leadership development – capacity building of staff to take on senior leadership positions.
Fluency in English, both written and verbal; Fluency in Arabic is an advantage
Please note for this role, applicants must be internal and legally eligible to work in Libya or Tunisia. We are unable to provide work permits or visa sponsorships for this position.
What you will do
This role will oversee, manage, develop, and strengthen both HR and Administration functions in order to provide efficient and qualitative support to the NRC Country Programme in Libya. The position holder will focus on effective Recruitment, Staff Development, Work force planning, supporting the nationalization process, Learning and Development, HR Compliance and serve as an advisory on HR technical matters to the Country Management Team.
