Social Development and Gender Specialist Full Time

(i) The Social and Gender Specialist shall have Diploma in Social Sciences and shall have
minimum of five (5) years’ of working experience in Social Development and
Stakeholder Engagement.
(ii) The social specialist shall have experience in similar projects of Social Development,
in E&S risks and impacts assessment and management, particularly related to public
civil works, so as experience in dealing with community conflicts mediation and
Grievance Redress Mechanisms (GRM).
(iii)Experience in assess and address GBV risks and challenges will be an asset and in
Communication for Development and Behaviour Change an advantage.
(iv) He/she shall have professional experience in Angola and shall have language
proficiency in Portuguese.
(v) The specialist should provide training and guidance to the Social and Gender assistants.
