The USAID-funded Guinea Rule of Law and Access to Justice (ROLAJ) proposal Judicial Advisor is a senior management position responsible for leading judicial strengthening initiatives and activities to improve judicial efficiency, effectiveness, and transparency and the Government of Guinea (GoG) capacity to ensure rule of law and access to justice in Guinea. Provides technical leadership in work with national and municipal formal justice sector actors. The candidate should have demonstrated deep technical knowledge of the Guinean judicial system, including gaps or opportunities to improve its efficiency, effectiveness, and credibility. The Judicial Advisor should also have knowledge of court operations, judicial ethics and transparency, capacity building of judicial officials, access to formal justice avenues and challenges, and experience in Guinea. Guinean citizens preferred. This position is subject to the availability of funds and USAID approval. Please apply by July 24, 2024.
