Organizational Development and Capacity Building Expert Full Time

Tasks of Key Expert,

• Conduct Needs Assessments on hubs and Gender network organizations to identify areas for organizational development and capacity building.
• Develop tailored capacity building plans based on results from the needs assessments. This will inform the content and approach for the design of hubs’ toolkit and capacity building plans for Gender Network organizations.
• Support the facilitation of sessions, workshops and training delivered to hubs and gender networks.
• Offer support to individuals and organizations who may need further support along the journey.
• Develop monitoring and evaluation frameworks to assess the effectiveness and impact of the strategies to be implemented. Feedback from participating organizations and individuals will be useful for this process to ensure that adjustments are made where necessary

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE,

•              General professional experience

–          8 years of experience working with various capacity building approaches, methodologies, and tools, including adult learning principles, participatory techniques, and organizational development frameworks.

•              Specific professional experience:

–          5 years of experience in conducting organizational assessments, developing capacity building plans, and implementing capacity building initiatives for nonprofit organizations, NGOs, or community-based organizations

•              10 projects conducted in Ghana.  

•              Education/training: A bachelor’s or master’s degree in organizational development, business administration, management, social sciences, or a related field

•              Languages requirements :

–           C1 -level language proficiency in English

–           C1 level language proficiency in Twi and/or in Dagbani
