Pool Manager – Private and Financial Sector Full Time

Background

The Private and Financial Sector (PFS) is a GIZ funded project aims to improve the employment situation in the micro, small and medium-sized companies in selected regions of Ghana.

We are looking for a Long Term Expert for the role of Pool Manager based in Accra, Ghana.

Job Description

Your Tasks:

• Ensure adequate, timely and qualitatively satisfying deployment of Short Term Experts (existing as well as additional ones if needed) upon request
• Assist and support in the general project management of the project in order to understand the day to day needs of the project based on intervention logic and be able to proactively propose STEs to deliver services needed at a specific stage of the implementation cycle
• Ensuring the coherence and complementarity of the services delivered via STEs with other services delivered by the project at local and national level
• Plan STE deployment ahead in close coordination with project/component managers
• Monitor and report on deliverables, processes, progress, project indicator achievement to which the STEs contributed, and days/budget spent of the STE pool contract
• Propose proactive additional STE possibilities according to possible upcoming partner and/or project needs and developments in the sector
• Assist in project reporting to the donors where the STE pool service delivery is involved
• Organise STE deployment for (workshop) logistics as requested by the project
• Administrative support to the short-term consultants
