Overall purpose

Under the authority of the Head of Cooperation , the supervision of the Head of section OPS 1, and in close coordination with the Task Force on Migration Assistance to Neighbouring Countries, contribute to the management of the EU Emergency Trust Fund for stability and addressing root causes of irregular migration and displaced persons in Africa (“EUTF Africa”), in compliance with its articles of incorporation and the procedures established by the Board of the Fund; for the country of posting (Morocco) and responsibility (Morocco) and ensure that TF activities are closely coordinated with other EU-funded activities in the field of migration.

Under the authority of the Head of Cooperation , the supervision of the Head of section OPS 1, to advise on and manage the implementation of projects and programmes in the field of Migration, Security, Integrated Border Management and Fight against Organized Crime financed by the ENI allocation (national and regional) and the EUTF Africa. To contribute to policy dialogue with national authorities and to liaise with sector stakeholders in the respective area of responsibility.

Job-Related experience:at least 3 years Qualifier:essential

Previous professional experience in relevant countries (Neighbourhood, Enlargment countries) and experience in security sector reforms would be an asset. Knowledge of Arabic will be regarded as an asset.
