Context:
Under the overall supervision of the Chief of Mission (CoM), the direct supervision of the Head of Programmes, the successful candidate will be responsible for data and knowledge production undertaken by IOM Morocco.

Required Qualifications and Experience:
Education
• Master’s degree in Statistics or a related field from an accredited academic institution with two years of relevant professional experience; or
• University degree in the above fields with four years of relevant professional experience.
Experience
• Excellent knowledge of statistics, survey and assessment methodologies;
• Good knowledge of migration-issues;
• Professional or academic experience in combined qualitative and quantitative research methods;
• Professional experience in coordinating multi-cultural teams and field-based staff;
• Excellent communication skills, efficiency and flexibility;
• Excellent writing, drafting and editing skill and strong analytical skills and creative thinking;
• Ability to work under pressure. Attention to detail and quality and capacity to meet deadlines;
• Ability to work effectively and harmoniously with colleagues from varied cultures and professional backgrounds;
• Experience producing visibility materials, publications, reports and other documents;
• Experience working with statistical software, such as Statistical Package for the Social Science
(SPSS) or STATA software, and databases is a distinct advantage.
Languages
IOM’s official languages are English, French and Spanish.
For this position, fluency in English and French is required (oral and written). Working knowledge of Arabic and/or Spanish is an advantage.
