Here’s where you come in:
As, Senior Protection & Gender Advisor you provide strategic and technical leadership to the national Protection programme, supporting Programme Development in external engagement and project design; Quality Assurance in the development and review of monitoring and evaluation tools to measure progress, quality and impact of technical interventions; and Operations and project managers by providing technical inputs, advice and field-based monitoring to support high technical quality of child protection and GBV programming. You will also focuse on capacity building; contextualizing and facilitating key Protection training packages, mentoring Protection staff (technical and operational), and supporting all World Vision South Sudan staff to mainstream Protection, Child Protection and GBV risk mitigation comprehensively across all sectors.
Requirements:
- University Degree in International Relations, Humanitarian Protection, Human Rights or Social Work; Master’s Degree is strongly preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a technical position related to Protection, with a comprehensive experience in both child protection and GBV technical sectors strongly preferred.
- Certification or other similar demonstration of capacity to facilitate trainings and provide coaching and supervision to key Child Protection and GBV technical packages (i.e. Child Protection Minimum Standards, Comprehensive CP Case
- South Sudan is a hardship, non-family post with an R&R cycle of 12 weeks. Juba based with 30% field travel.
