Expert 8: Pool 4 with 4 Agricultural Economists with International Experience
Tasks of Expert 8:
- Implement and document an intermediate and final evaluation of Result Indicator 3 (Household Food Insecurity Experience Scale), following international standards and using standardized tools.
- Design, implement, and document studies on livelihoods and markets.
- Provide technical advice to project staff and intermediaries on the following topics, as requested:
- Climate-smart agricultural practices
- Processing, conservation, and marketing techniques
- Agricultural value chain development
Qualifications of Expert 8:
- Education: University degree (Master’s) in agriculture or economics.
- Language: Proficiency in French (C1) and English (C1) according to the CEFR.
- General Professional Experience: 5 years of professional experience in agriculture and food security.
- Specific Professional Experience:
- 3 years of professional experience in household surveys and market studies related to agriculture and food security, or in climate-smart agriculture, or in agricultural value chain development.
- International Experience: 1 year of professional experience outside West Africa (according to United Nations Statistics Division).
- Experience in West Africa: 3 years of professional experience in West Africa.
- Development Cooperation Experience: 3 years of experience in development cooperation projects.
