About the Role
The Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN) is seeking a Project Officer, Ethiopia Food Systems Dashboard to support the Food Systems Dashboard project in Ethiopia. This role will be offered on a fixed term contract until December 2026, subject to availability of funding. You will be based in GAIN’s Ethiopia office in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
Reporting to the Head of Policy and Advocacy, the Project Officer will support the technical work and provide support on data generation, analysis and overall support for the Ethiopia Food Systems Dashboard development.

About You
The ideal candidate will have proven track record in supporting food and nutrition policy dialogue and have experience in government and private sector stakeholder engagement. You will possess strong data source identification, reviewing and analysis experience as well as experience in conducting literature review.
The postholder should possess excellent communication skills. You will be fluent in written and spoken English. In addition, you will have demonstrable data analysis skills and ability to present complex information to non-technical audiences.
A bachelor’s degree in nutrition, public health, international development, sociology, economics or related field. You will be computer literate with strong PowerPoint presentation skills.
About our Offer
The starting salary on offer for this role is from USD 11,244 – USD 12,852 per annum (gross salary), depending on experience.
GAIN has a fair and competitive salary structure that allows for annual progression subject to good performance.
