1. About these Terms

1.1 These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) govern your use of the Kaleta website at kaleta.co, its related domains, mobile experiences, newsletters and services (together, the “Platform”).

1.2 The Platform is operated by Africa Label Group Inc., a company registered in Ghana under number [registration number], with its registered office at, Accra, Ghana (“Kaleta”, “we”, “us”).

1.3 By creating an account, posting a job, applying for a job, purchasing a service or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to these Terms and to our [Privacy Policy]. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

1.4 If you use the Platform on behalf of a company or organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these Terms on its behalf.

2. Definitions

  • Job seeker or Candidate: a person who uses the Platform to look for work, publish a CV or apply for jobs.
  • Employer or Recruiter: a company, organisation, agency or person that uses the Platform to publish vacancies or search for candidates.
  • Member: any registered user, whether job seeker or employer.
  • Content: any text, CV, profile, job post, image, message, review or other material published on the Platform.
  • Paid Services: services offered for a fee, including Premium and Candidate Pro memberships, CV reviews, coaching, job posting packages, recruiter subscriptions, CV database access and visibility options.

3. Eligibility and accounts

3.1 You must be at least 18 years old, or the minimum legal working age in your country if higher, to create an account.

3.2 You agree to provide accurate, current and complete information, and to keep it up to date. You must not create an account for someone else without their permission, or create more than one personal account.

3.3 You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us immediately at [support email] if you suspect unauthorised use.

3.4 Employers may be asked to verify their identity and organisation before publishing jobs or accessing candidate data. We may refuse or remove any employer account that we cannot verify.

4. Rules for job seekers

4.1 Your CV, profile and applications must be truthful. Do not claim qualifications, experience or references you do not have.

4.2 You control the visibility of your CV. When you make your CV searchable or apply for a job, you allow the relevant employers to view and contact you about opportunities.

4.3 Kaleta does not employ candidates on behalf of employers and does not guarantee interviews or job offers. Each employer decides alone whom to interview and hire.

4.4 Always check a job offer before sharing sensitive personal data. A genuine employer never asks you to pay to apply, to be interviewed or to get a job. Report any such request to [support email].

5. Rules for employers and recruiters

5.1 Job posts must describe real, currently open positions, with accurate information on the employer, role, location and type of contract.

5.2 Employers must not:

  • ask candidates for any payment, deposit or fee, directly or through a third party;
  • post misleading or fraudulent offers, or pyramid, multi-level marketing or fake “work from home” schemes presented as jobs;
  • discriminate unlawfully on grounds such as gender, ethnicity, religion, disability, age or marital status;
  • use candidate data for any purpose other than recruitment, or share, sell or copy it outside the Platform;
  • contact candidates for marketing or unrelated commercial offers.

5.3 Employers are solely responsible for their recruitment decisions, job offers, employment contracts and compliance with labour, immigration and data protection laws.

5.4 Kaleta may review, edit for format, reject or remove any job post, and may suspend any employer account, that breaches these Terms or that we reasonably suspect of fraud.

6. Paid Services and payments

6.1 Prices, durations and content of Paid Services are shown on the Platform at the time of purchase, in the currency displayed. Prices may change, but a change never affects a service already paid for.

6.2 Payments are made through the payment methods offered on the Platform, such as mobile money, bank cards or bank transfer, and are processed by third-party payment providers. Kaleta does not store your full card details.

6.3 Memberships and subscriptions run for the period stated at purchase. [If automatic renewal is offered: they renew automatically unless you cancel before the end of the current period, and we remind you by email before renewal.]

6.4 Invoices or receipts are sent by email or available in your account. Employers are responsible for any taxes that apply to them.

7. Cancellations and refunds

7.1 You may cancel a Paid Service at any time from your account or by writing to [support email]; cancellation stops future renewals.

7.2 Because most Paid Services start immediately (access to features, CV reviews, coaching sessions, job post publication), fees already paid are generally not refundable once the service has started, except where the law requires otherwise or as stated in 7.3.

7.3 You may request a refund within [7] days of purchase if the service has not yet been used or delivered, or if Kaleta has failed to deliver it as described. Approved refunds are paid back through the original payment method within [14] days.

7.4 A job post removed for breaching these Terms is not refunded.

8. Career services and no guarantee of employment

8.1 CV reviews, coaching, career advice, webinars and articles are provided to help you improve your job search. They are advice, not professional legal, immigration or financial advice.

8.2 Kaleta does not guarantee that any member will obtain an interview, a job, a salary level or a hire. Any results or statistics shown on the Platform describe past experiences of some members and are not a promise of future results.

8.3 Coaches and CV reviewers may be independent professionals working with Kaleta. They must follow our quality and confidentiality standards.

9. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • impersonate any person, employer or Kaleta staff, or claim to recruit “on behalf of Kaleta”;
  • publish false, defamatory, offensive, hateful or illegal Content;
  • send spam, chain messages or unsolicited commercial offers to members;
  • copy, scrape, crawl or extract data from the Platform by automated means, or resell it, without our written permission;
  • upload viruses or harmful code, or try to access accounts, systems or data you are not authorised to access;
  • create fake accounts, or register in bulk to post links or advertising.

10. Fraud and safety

10.1 Kaleta works to keep the Platform safe, but cannot check every job post, employer or candidate. Stay alert and use your own judgement.

10.2 You can report a suspicious job, profile or message at any time to [support email]. We may remove Content, suspend accounts and share information with the authorities when we suspect fraud.

11. Your Content and intellectual property

11.1 You keep ownership of the Content you publish. You give Kaleta a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to host, display, format, translate and share it on the Platform and its communication channels, only as needed to provide and promote the services. This licence ends when you delete the Content or your account, except for copies already shared with employers you applied to.

11.2 You confirm that you have the right to publish your Content and that it does not infringe anyone’s rights.

11.3 The Platform, its design, software, databases, logos, the Kaleta name and all articles and materials created by Kaleta belong to Kaleta or its licensors. You may not reuse them without our written permission.

12. Privacy and communications

12.1 We process personal data in line with our [Privacy Policy] and the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) of Ghana, and other data protection laws that apply to you.

12.2 We send you service messages about your account, applications, job alerts you set up and purchases. You can manage job alerts and newsletters in your account, and every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link.

12.3 You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data by writing to [privacy email].

The Platform may link to employers’ websites, application forms, payment providers and other third-party services. Kaleta does not control them and is not responsible for their content, practices or availability.

14. Availability of the Platform

We work to keep the Platform available and secure, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. We may carry out maintenance, change features or suspend part of the Platform when needed.

15. Limitation of liability

15.1 The Platform is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, Kaleta is not liable for:

  • the accuracy of job posts, CVs or other Content published by members;
  • hiring decisions, employment relationships or disputes between members;
  • indirect losses such as loss of income, opportunity or data.

15.2 To the extent permitted by law, Kaleta’s total liability to you for any claim related to the Platform is limited to the amount you paid Kaleta in the [12] months before the claim.

15.3 Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud or gross negligence.

16. Indemnity

You agree to compensate Kaleta for any claim, loss or cost (including reasonable legal fees) resulting from your breach of these Terms, your Content, or, for employers, your recruitment practices.

17. Suspension and termination

17.1 You may close your account at any time from your account settings or by writing to [support email].

17.2 Kaleta may suspend or close an account, remove Content, or refuse service, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, if we suspect fraud, or if the law requires it. Where possible, we will explain why.

17.3 Sections that by nature continue after termination (for example on intellectual property, liability and governing law) remain in force.
