Our mission is to enhance the management of ‘forgotten’ National Parks and Protected Areas in partnership with governments and local communities, and to empower people to protect wildlife and wilderness around the world.
THE FORGOTTEN PARKS FOUNDATION
We work in forgotten national parks and protected areas in Africa and Latin America. The National Parks we support are large wilderness areas with high levels of biodiversity, are largely unknown or forgotten, and suffer inadequate support to ensure their long-term protection.
The Forgotten Parks Foundation is responsible for the management of the following ‘Forgotten Parks’ through public private partnership agreements.
