The Regional Durable Solutions Secretariat (ReDSS), established in 2015, is a secretariat of 14 NGOs that serves as a coordination and information hub to drive durable solutions for displacement-affected communities in the East, Horn, and Great Lakes regions of Africa. ReDSS enhances joint learning, informs policy, builds capacity, and fosters coordination, acting as a catalyst to stimulate forward-thinking and policy development on durable solutions. ReDSS has a presence in Ethiopia, Kenya, Somalia, and a coordination unit for the Great Lakes based in Burundi. For more information http://www.regionaldss.org/
Overall purpose of the role:
The ReDSS Kenya manager will be responsible to lead ReDSS work in Kenya. He/ she will be responsible for the overall management and coordination of ReDSS Kenya Country Unit and for initiating and implementing its strategy, work plan and budget while providing strategic direction and representing ReDSS members in relevant fora and coordination mechanisms.
