Chemonics seeks two FASP specialists for the Global Health Supply Chain Program – Procurement and Supply Management (GHSC-PSM) project. GHSC-PSM is the primary vehicle through which the U.S. Government procures and delivers health commodities and provides systems support to improve the management of the partner countries’ supply chain. In Kenya, GHSC-PSM supports the Ministry of Health and other stakeholders to improve the availability of life-saving health commodities and strengthen supply chain systems. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world.
Currently, GHSC-PSM requires FASP team members that are experienced in the following commodity categories: (1) HIV/AIDS laboratory, (2) HIV/AIDS pharmaceuticals, and (3) malaria commodities (pharmaceuticals, mRDTs, ITNs, etc.) and tuberculosis (as required). In the future, if GHSC-PSM receives maternal child health and nutrition funding, the responsibilities for this domain would be with the FASP team member responsible for malaria. The responsibilities below have removed this reference for clarity, but the selected individual will be required to assume those responsibilities should funding be made available.
The FASP specialists will be responsible for HIV/AIDS laboratories or HIV/AIDS pharmaceuticals and malaria. The FASP specialists will be supervised by the FASP advisor.
