As Deputy Country Representative you will manage and advance the programming and operations objectives under the guidance of the Country Representative in support of Catholic Relief Services (CRS) mission to serve the poor and vulnerable. Your strategic management skills will enable you to advance CRS’ reputation and impact while you proactively manage security and mitigate security risks and liabilities.
Background:
Catholic Relief Services has been working in Ethiopia since 1957, with a long and rich history of providing emergency relief and development assistance across the country. CRS/Ethiopia currently has a varied and diversified portfolio of Food Security; Economic Growth and Livelihoods; Resiliency; Agriculture; Water and Sanitation; and Health/Nutrition programs. The Country Program is a prime recipient of two large scale consortium-managed Title II projects, plus multiple emergency and non-emergency projects. CRS/Ethiopia programs are implemented by local partners and international organizations with funding sources that include USAID (FFP, OFDA, etc.) and a number of private foundations.
